Home Insurance Benefits
Benefits of our policies include:
Low claims excess
If you have to make a claim our claims excess is only €125 (subsidence excess is €1000).
Frozen foods
We provide cover for the contents of your deep freezer or refrigerator if they are spoilt up to €700.
Money and credit cards
We provide cover for personal money within the home, held for private purposes up to a maximum of €500 and credit cards up to €1500.
TV, audio, video and computer equipment
We cover loss or damage to television, video, audio and computer equipment up to €2000 for any one item.
Wedding and Christmas gifts.
We increase contents cover by 10% for these occasions for FREE.
Replacement locks cover
We provide cover up to €400 for locks to any outside door of the home if the keys have been stolen from the home.
Loss of rent and alternative accommodation
We will pay the amount of rent you would have received if your home was let or the reasonable cost of renting similar accommodation for the period you cannot live in the home. (see policy booklet)
Fatal Injury Benefit
We will pay €5000 if you or your spouse/partner die, as a result of an injury in the home caused by fire or an assault by intruders.
Fire Brigade Charges
We will pay up to €2000 for fire brigade charges as a result of any incident insured by your policy.
24 hour home emergency helpline
The home emergency helpline puts you in touch with reputable tradesmen (such as a plumber or electrician) in the event of an emergency in your home.
Jury Service
We will pay you or your spouse/civil partner €25 per day up to a maximum of €700 for attending Jury Service.
Title Deeds
We will cover the costs to prepare new title deeds up to a maximum of €1000 if they are lost or damaged by an insured peril.
Visitors' Personal Belongings
We will cover up to a maximum amount of €1000 for the loss or damage to visitors' property by an insured peril.
