Job Summary

This team-member will be passionate about driving higher revenues to our digital channel by identifying optimization opportunities with the Digital team that improve customer journeys and increase website and mobile conversion. The role is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing a suite of Digital Analytics reports and providing ongoing tactical and strategic insight on product performance for this critical sales channel.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Identifying problems with the conversion rate through quant and qual research
  • Create test concepts to address issues identified in quant and qual research and use your conversion expertise to create effective solutions
  • Analyse and evaluate AB Tests / Experiments - reporting on results and devising iterations on concepts to drive the testing strategy
  • Drive an analytic approach to site conversion
  • Work with Head of Digital to develop our approach to experimentation, across AB testing, personalisation and through exploring new opportunities to put testing at the heart of businesses
  • Produce daily and weekly reports to monitor traffic, on-site conversion, back office conversion and product performance
  • Develop insight and understanding into what our customers want and need in the online journey
  • Create/maintain events and dashboards to monitor performance of individual campaigns and complete subsequent analysis
  • Provide analytics techniques and insights to improve product performance online
  • Manage the creation and provision of UTM tagging for digital marketing campaigns
  • Assist in ensuring accurate tracking of all analytics data by implementing correct tagging of all pages
  • Work with our online marketing agency to track and improve performance of all of our campaigns
  • Work with marketing teams to improve the effectiveness of email, PPC, SEO and Display campaigns
  • Provide analysis and/or develop models to improve sales forecast performance based on marketing spend, traffic company goals, or other key factors
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending digital marketing/analytics tools and products
  • Power user of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and facilitate the capture and collection of key data points for user interactions across the Liberty website
  • Maintenance of Analytics Goals, Filters and Segments across a number of Analytics views

 

Qualifications

  • Have attained a relevant degree or MSc and 2+ years relevant experience in similar industry role

 

Experience & Knowledge

Essential:

  • 2+ years online expertise ideally in ecommerce or conversion focused sites
  • 2+ years’ experience in web, mobile and social marketing analytics required
  • Experience in implementing JavaScript tagging onsite and via Tag Manager to ensure accurate analytics data
  • Experience with a site optimization tool (e.g. Maxymiser, Adobe Target, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Web Stack (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
  • Experience in managing and reporting on Google AdWords/Social/Display advertising campaigns
  • Be extremely proficient with the metrics, reports, and capabilities in Google Analytics to provide greater insight on digital sales performance
  • Deep understanding of web principles usability, customer experience, digital marketing, social networking, information architecture
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience of working collaboratively within a team to achieve a specific result
  • Must be committed to self-development and enthusiastic about acquiring new skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working with data visualisation software a major plus
  • Basic knowledge and querying capabilities in SQL
